March 20/21, 2010 - NKC AAC Agility Trial |
NKC is hosting an AAC Agility trial at the Agriplex on March 20/21. It includes also 3 non-AAC Fun Runs that serve as a fundraiser to support Team Canada competing in the IFCS World Agriplex Championships. The fun runs are at the Advanced/Masters level (similar to Regionals runs) and have to be entered as a block of all 3 at $30. (The form shows the first run at $30 and the other two at $0, but they have to be entered together). One fun run will be on Saturday, the other two on Sunday. We also offer an array of AAC registered runs. Please find details and the entry form here: http://nanaimokennelclub.ca/book/trial201003.php |

December 2009 - NKC at the Santa Parade |
|
December 5th - NKC members walk in the Lions Club Santa Parade. A great time was had by all, especially the over 40 dogs we had participating. We set up on Victoria Street and ultimately walked the route down Victoria, along Commercial ending up by the government buildings on Front Street. We all wore signage indicating the type of dog we had and the dogs greeted many people along the route. Many of us then went to the Diana Krall Plaza to enjoy some music and hot chocolate. Santa was there too. The club received a beautiful rosette for Honorary Mention in the parade. Another ribbon to hang up in the Dog House. Thanks to all that came out to enjoy the beautiful day and a fun walk with your dogs. Sandi Malcolm Click here for the photo gallery. |
