New Members are always welcome.
New Members must submit their application in person at a General Meeting where they will obtain a copy of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Nanaimo Kennel Club as well as the Code of Ethics, all of which you will have to agree to before becoming a member.
To join you must be “sponsored” by another NKC member. If you do not know any Nanaimo Kennel Club Members simply attend a general meeting , and introduce yourself and a “sponsor” will happily be appointed to you. The reason for the sponsor is to assist you with any questions and to introduce you to other members with mutual interests. Our members are widely diversified in their canine activities and are always eager to share information and ‘dog stories’ with new members.
General meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month except July, August & December, at 7 pm in room # 8 – Beban Park, Nanaimo, B.C.
Application for memberships are available online or at the General Meetings where you will be given a copy of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Nanaimo Kennel Club as well as the Code of Ethics, all of which you will have to agree to before becoming a member. You must also agree as a condition of membership to provide at least eight hours of volunteer help per year in any capacity and in any discipline of your choice.
Fees for New Members:
Family membership: $40.00 first year ($25 per year for any following year)
Individual membership: $25.00 first year ($15 per year for any following year)

Renewing your membership
Members renewing can either:
* Submit online by competing the NKC Online Renewal form
* In person at a General Meeting
* By mailing the NKC Membership Renewal (in pdf format) with payment to:
