| December 5th - NKC members walk in the Lions Club Santa Parade. A great time was had by all, especially the over 40 dogs we had participating. We set up on Victoria Street and ultimately walked the route down Victoria, along Commercial ending up by the government buildings on Front Street. We all wore signage indicating the type of dog we had and the dogs greeted many people along the route. Many of us then went to the Diana Krall Plaza to enjoy some music and hot chocolate. Santa was there too. The club received a beautiful rosette for Honorary Mention in the parade. Another ribbon to hang up in the Dog House. Thanks to all that came out to enjoy the beautiful day and a fun walk with your dogs. Sandi Malcolm |
